Bach Flower Remedies
This is a treatment
of a "negative emotional" condition. The theory is to
treat the person and not the illness in a similar way to homeopathy.
Negative emotions means a gradul decline or collapse of a thinking
process, or a degenration of self-esteem. The continuous accumulation
of negative emotions within the mind may pervert the entire persona
of an individual. At the earlier stages the negativities get a
backdoor entry with stealthy steps and later on entraps the mind
wholly, affecting the physcial body badly.
The Bach Flower Remedies were developed by Dr Edward Bach, a Harley
Street doctor and well known physician, bacteriologist, homeopath
and researcher. He believed that the attitude of mind plays a
vital role in maintaining health and recovering from illness.
He identified 38 basic negative states of mind and created a plant
or flower based remedy for each one.
Many plants have an ability to cure phsycial and mental ailments.
Most of the herbal preparations are in the form of extracted oil,
essence, powder of dried leaves or the root or stem. The "healing
power" in those extracts is a non-physical or non-existing
thing, having no measurement or analysis on any scale like a chemical
or a drug. So their specific potency cannot be extracted and identified
as a watermark for a particular ailment treatment. It is truly
a personalised treatment, determined after studying the sufferer's
state of mind. How he or she reacts with the environemnt, and
how long the behavioural negativity has accumulated in the personality.
Each person is equally important due to varying behaviour, but
treated idfferently with the various combinations of medicines.
The floral remedies help us to help ourselves. So not consider
them merely a medicine, but as a part of life and a part of you.
Take them with positive attitude and confidence towards life.
